Russian troops suffered new losses while attempting to cross the border between the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions in Ukraine. During the operation, two tanks and three armored vehicles were destroyed after hitting mines and getting stuck in a river, where they were ultimately neutralized by Ukrainian FPV drones.
According to the 46th Airborne Brigade of Ukraine, the crossing attempt took place in dense fog, in an effort by the Russians to avoid aerial detection. The attack originated from the occupied village of Yalta in Donetsk and aimed to break through Ukrainian defenses near the village of Filiya in Dnipropetrovsk. Russian forces employed T-72B3 tanks, equipped with additional protection against drones, but were quickly defeated thanks to the precision and coordination between Ukrainian intelligence and drone operators.
